| 内容記述 | Abstract：A hospital is generally a bureaucratic organization. Several departments constituting a hospital, including the nursing department, are bureaucratic organizations. However, the organizational chart of a nursing department includes characteristics unusual for other departments. Specifically, it is shown with the concrete activity locations (each ward section name, outpatient department) where medical service to patients is actually being carried out. We think this suggests the following three points. First of all, the characteristic organizational chart of the nursing department comes from the historical fact that nurses have been needed to carry out various management roles at places accommodating sick people. Next, it is necessary to investigate the relationship with the location of nursing activities in order to understand the essence of nursing duties. Finally, the objective of nursing duties is the various managerial phenomena, which appear in places where nursing activities are widely practiced.
